My First Great Shopping Experience

I distinctly remember my first great shopping experience. It was in the Guess store at the Stamford Town Center mall I grabbed a light brown collared shirt with a pattern of small squares and a good fit. Along with that I it a pair of dark blue jeans with a faded pattern on the thigh (yeah even today this fashion is getting dated). I remember one of the worker chicks remarking that it was her "favorite outfit" (a sales tactic I only later learned about). And I remember trying the outfit on and be startled at how cool the clothes looked and, when the sales girl did the obligatory "how are things" I startled her with the enthusiasm of my "GREAT!"

A baby asleep on your chest

There's something so comforting about having your son fall asleep so completely on your chest. That feeling of weight as he gradually stops squirming and turns into a sack of potatoes. When his head slumps over, turned into your neck, check pressed against your chest, so that he's shaped like a comma. His breathing changing from all the struggling and catchy squawking to a calm in and out, falling in rhythm to your own chest rising and falling. More than anything, I adore that feeling of complete and utter trust that this implies.
